Lipids

Lipids and Fatty Acids:

This is thanks to the presence of certain oily layers, which are a kind of Lipids Biological Compound.
Provide Stability to the Living Organisms' Metabolism
In the case of upper Living Organisms, maintain the thermoregulatory system.
Importance of Lipids within the lifetime of Living Organisms:
All of the Biological Compounds are possessed with their own Importance.  And all of the Biological Compounds which are required in a very Minute Amount are called Macromolecules or more Specifically called Vitamins.
But Our Point of Discussion is to study the Lipids which are required by Living Organisms in a very large quantity or could be known as Macromolecules.
Let me explain the Importance of Lipids.
What is Importance Actually?
In science, Importance means the study or Understanding of both parameters Negative parameters related to the Life of the Organisms.
One of the most important aspects of the Importance of Lipids is their Relative Abundance about that of the Other Biological Compounds.
As of the Presence of the Proteins molecules in every cell of the Body, Lipids tend to maintain their abundance being Biological Compounds in the overall body of the Living Organisms. y excellent Insulators for our Body.
These Compounds lead to the Structural Maintenance of all life forms of living organisms. Lipids are such type of Compounds that are Covalent in nature means that they are Non-Polar and therefore Electrically Neutral and therefore are ver
These Biological Compounds are basically more adaptive in the Fishes like Sharks or such giant life forms. All of such types of Living Organisms are possess the most adaptive Lipids layer on their body and are responsible for Perfect Insulation for their body to maintain the temperature per any fluctuation of Temperature outside of the Body i.e. External Temperature.
These Biological Compounds are used to provide a greater amount of energy to the body due to the presence of extensive linkages of Carbon Hydrogen elements.
Why Carbon and Hydrogen Bond is comprised of So much energy?
The Only Reason this chemical Bond is comprised of so much energy is the fact that this Carbon and Hydrogen are of Non-polar nature with an Electronegativity difference of 0.4. Due to such a Very small electronegativity difference,, this bond is Covalent.
During Metabolism, when this Chemical Bond and the Lipids Dimer is produced a very unique amount of energy is given out, because the anabolism involves Exothermic reactions. And whenever Signals Come via neurons and this Bond Breaks a very similar amount of energy is required to do so. Because Catabolism reactions are Endothermic Reactions.
How lipids Molecules are involved in the Transport of materials across the Cell Membrane of the Eukaryotic Cell.
As it is stated that all of the Lipids molecules are Non-Polar Nature. Therefore these Biological Compounds will allow themselves to dissolve only Nonpolar or Covalent Substances.
Moreover, there is all the specific concentration of Lipids in the Cell membrane. Therefore, those substances which are Nonpolar could generate affinity with the Non-polar Lipids Molecules,,,, and in this way, they can transport in or out of the Cell Membrane. So What about the Transport of Polar Molecules across the cell membrane. These molecules could not create affinity with the Nonpolar Molecules but could be transported across the cell membrane by Active Transport Mechanism.
Kinds of Lipids:
Followings are the Kinds of the Lipids:
Waxes:
Waxes are the most important form of Lipids and are the ultimate source of protection for Living organisms, especially for Insects.
These lipids molecules range from the Lower Carbon atom to Higher Carbon atoms.
Such Biological Compounds are playing a Very Valuable role in the process of the overall homeostasis of the Living Organisms and also play a vital role in the survival of living Bodies in the Harsh Conditions on lands.
Sphingolipids:
All of the living Trees or Plants used to secret excessive concentrations of gums resigns and other sticky substances when they are cutter or rashes. These Biological Compounds help the plants to secret such lipids-containing substances.
